James H. “Jim” Flowers, 72, of Sugar Loaf Lake, AR departed this life Wednesday, August 25, 2010 in a Fort Smith hospital with his family present and attending. He was a U. S. Navy veteran of the Vietnam era and a retired construction superintendent.
Survivors include his wife, Jeanette, of the home; two sons, Craig Flowers and his wife, Maria, of Midland, AR and Roger Flowers and his wife, Sherry, of Redondo Beach, CA; two brothers, Lonnie Flowers of Pensacola, FL and Eddie Flowers of San Bernadino, CA; a sister, Memory Burkett of Pensacola, FL, and three grandchildren.
A private memorial service will be held by the family at a later date.
Cremation arrangements are under the direction of McConnell Funeral Home of Greenwood, AR.
