I’m so sorry to hear about Jane. I grew up with her. She was a smart, gentle, kind  soul. Sending my deepest condolences to her whole family. She will be greatly missed.

I taught school at Magazine Elementary with Jane. I believe she was the 5th or 6th grade teacher.  She loved teaching and her students.  Sending prayers to her family.

I am so sorry for your loss.  Janie was a great friend and an amazing neighbor.  I always enjoyed our “short” talks when she came to deliver my eggs!!!  I loved listening to the history of this area and of the many folks that lived here!!  
And sometimes  just catching up on life!!! 
I will greatly miss her and visiting/catching up with her!!!

The memories of a lifetime of friendship are far to many to write. The hay fields, the 4H meetings, the school bus rides, church all come flooding to mind. Good bye my good friend. I will miss our visits when you bring my eggs to take back to my job on the pipelines when I’m home. Kenny and Isaiah my prayers are with you both. She will leave an empty spot in the lives of all who knew her.

I'm so sorry for your lost. Ms. Hattbaugh was a wonderful person and the best second grade and third grade teacher I could ever ask for. I remembered when she needed help doing the chalk board she would ask me to clean it for her because she knew that I loved cleaning the board for her. Everyone always called me the teachers pet but they just didn't understand the connection that we had. She is loved deeply and gracefully. RIP. Ms.Hattabaugh.

I have known Mrs. Hattabaugh my entire life. She is one of the sweetest ladies I've known. I had the privilege of teaching her son Isaiah when he was in second grade and got to know her even better.  She was a fantastic person, mother, and teacher. She touched many lives including mine. My thoughts and prayers are with the family as they navigate this time. 🙏

Jane rescued me when I moved to Booneville in the middle of my ninth grade year. It was my first day at Booneville high school in the old brick building, they had no extra lockers for me so I had to carry all my books. After my first class was over Jane came up to me and asked  “ would you like to share a locker?”.  We have been best friends ever since that day. I’ll never forget that act of kindness, the help and support she gave me during transitioning to a new school. 

When I was in her class, she treated me like her child & I wrote her notes everyday. She was my school Mom & even after moving up in grades I still came by to give her notes and see her everyday. She was the most beautiful and kind hearted lady I’ve ever met. I’m so thankful to have had her in my life. I’m really sorry for your loss ❤️

I am so sorry to hear this. Prayers for peace and comfort to Isaiah and Kenny.  

She was a one-of-a-kind friend and Ouachita Gamma Phi sorority sister for over 40 years. She had the purest heart of anyone I ever met. I will miss her deeply until the day we are reunited in heaven by the grace of Jesus Christ our Savior. 

Mrs. Hattabaugh was a great teacher. I always hated math but she made me push myself harder and helped me strive to do better. I had only seen her a few times after  graduating school but she was always one of the best teachers I had.  I have tons of memories of her. Sending prayers to all of her friends and family.


I grew up with her went to church,swimming,horse riding,she was a good friend to grow up with she will be waiting in heaven see you again my friend
