Joel Brooks McLennan

Joel Brooks McLennan, 65, of Greenwood, Arkansas passed away Thursday, April 24, 2025 in a Fort Smith hospital. He was born July 16, 1959 in Valdosta, Georgia. He retired from Gerber. He was a good man, of the Christian faith, loved his family and was always there for them.

He is survived by two sons, Shawn McLennan and wife, Brandi and Travis McLennan; one daughter, Jessica Oliver; his long time companion, Rhonda Redmond; three brothers, Bruce McLennan and wife, Betty, Lauren McLennan and Bruce Britt and wife, Margerite; one sister, Holly Brown; the mother of his children, Celeste McLennan and four grandchildren, Jeslyn Joy Oliver, Julian Brooks Oliver, Sierra Marie McLennan and Eirik Brooks McLennan. He was preceded in death by his son-in-law, Justin Oliver.

A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, April 29 at McConnell Funeral Home Chapel in Greenwood.
