John Britton Cain, 71, of Cameron, Oklahoma passed away on Tuesday, January 31, 2012 in a Fort Smith hospital. He was a machine operator at Baldor Electric and a Navy veteran. He was preceded in death by a grandson, Jodie Wayne and a brother, Donnie Cain.
Survivors include his wife, Doris; one daughter, Cheryl Cain Boggs of Cameron, OK; two brothers, Gary Cain of Ft. Smith and James Cain of Van Buren; three sisters, Gail Cain of Ft. Smith, Nellie Newton of Hackett and Sherrie Shrum of Hackett; one grandchild, Sarah Burgett of Van Buren and one great grandchild, Gracyn Burgett of Van Buren.
Graveside services will be at 10:00 A.M. Friday, February 3, 2012 at Mountain View Cemetery in Hackett under the direction of McConnell Funeral Home in Greenwood. Visitation will be Thursday from 1-8 PM at the funeral home.
