Joy Katherine Edwards

She is survived by two sons, Kevin Edwards and Kenneth Edwards; two daughters, Carol Heaton and Kathy McCann and husband, Mike; four grandchildren, James and wife, Jodi, Jack and wife, Corinne, Hannah and Kelsey and husband, Andy and four great grandchildren, Jaxon, Joy Belle, Joel and Briar. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bob Edwards, three brothers, Wayne, Luther and Harold Oliver and five sisters, Margie Cowne, Betty Kersey, Ruth Carmack, Blanche Pryor and Wilda Jones.

Funeral service will be 10 a.m., Friday, July 15 at Greenwood First Baptist Church with burial at Liberty Cemetery under the direction of McConnell Funeral Home of Greenwood. Viewing will be Thursday from 2 – 7 p.m. at the funeral home, where the family will visit with friends from 5 – 7 p.m.

Pallbearers will be nephews.
