Julie Jorn Everett, 60, of Statesville, North Carolina passed away on Wednesday, December 13, 2023, at her home. Julie was born on November 22, 1963 in Omaha, Nebraska, daughter of Geraldine Michaels Jorn and the late Jerry Jorn.
Julie will be remembered as a caring, supportive and loving wife, mother, mimi, and friend. Those left to cherish her memory include her mother, Geraldine Jorn; husband, Sewell Everett; her children, John Everett (Brandy), Jake Everett (Molly), Josh Everett (Kalyn), Samantha “Sam” Everett, Sara Everett (Phillip Himsl); brother, Jeff Jorn and her grandchildren, Kierra, Rose, Katherine, Alyssa, Phillip, Matthew, Mary, Thomas, Braxen, Jameson, Halle, Naudia, Isaiah, Lilyanna, Giovanni, Treyson, Genevieve, Brooklyn, Payton. In addition to her father, Julie was preceded in death by her grandson, John Everett.
Funeral service will be 9 a.m., Thursday, December 21 at the Northside Church of Christ under the direction of McConnell Funeral Home of Greenwood. Burial will be Thursday at 12:30 p.m. at the U.S. National Cemetery in Fort Gibson, Oklahoma. Viewing will be Wednesday from 1 – 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
