Lyle (Wayne) Lorenson

Lyle (Wayne) Lorenson, 58, of Greenwood, Arkansas passed away Thursday, November 1, 2018 in his home. He was a retired school teacher with the Fort Smith Public Schools, involved with the Friends of the Library in Greenwood and was a devoted member of the Greenwood Church of the Nazarene.

A memorial service will be 11 a.m., Thursday, November 8 at the Greenwood Church of the Nazarene with Pastor Michael Roach officiating. Cremation was under the direction of McConnell Funeral Home of Greenwood.

He is survived by his son, Luke Lorenson and wife, Ellie; two grandsons, Luke and Alex; one granddaughter, Lily; his parents, Leon and Cindy Lorenson; three sisters, Liz Persall, Cindy Robbins and Pam Tanner and two brothers, Joey and Robby. He was preceded in death by his mother, Pat Watkins.
