He is survived by his wife, Sharon Hughes; three sons, Scottie Hughes, Jason and Shawn Broom; two daughters, Susan Crow and Sarah Hughes; one brother, Tom Hughes; one sister, Donna Threlkeld and twelve grandchildren.
A family led memorial service will be 1 p.m., Saturday, October 14 at Hartford Memorial Park. Cremation is under the direction of McConnell Funeral Home of Greenwood, Arkansas.
