I was sad to hear of Marlins passing. He was a true friend and such a compassionate man. I am so sorry for the family's loss. I pray that the Lord will hold the family up and bring them comfort.  Marlin will be missed.

I had the pleasure of working with Marlin at Whirlpool.  Such a nice guy & always had his paperwork and manpower in order! I remember his laugh.  Sad to know he is gone. God Bless his family.

Jerry and I are so sorry Karen and family for your loss. We really liked Marlin , prayers for you Karen and the family.

Last night, I lost my brother. Someone I could always count on since I was a child. Brother, you were there in Mountainburg when I would oversleep and would be too late to catch the bus or when I intentional waited, but did not tell you because I didn't want to walk the 1/2 mile to the bus stop. I remember I would go out to the cabin that Dad built by hand and would wake you up. Boy, how you hated to be woken up, but you would quickly get up and take me to school. We both have NEVER been morning people, haha.  You were there at the hospital soon after both Joshua and Ashley were born and throughout their life. You were there to comfort me when we lost our brother, Terry. You were there when I walked across the stage to receive my Master's degree from UALR. I remember looking up in the bleachers and there you were! You were there when you and I sat for 1 to 2 hours in your beloved truck and you just listened to me talk. You were there to help when Mom and Dad needed you the most. Although I helped with the paperwork and visited as much as I could, you took on more than any human being should have been required. During those three years, you sacrificed your own physical and emotional health to care for our Mom and Dad.You were there to represent our family every year at the Memorial Day's service at the National Cemetery where our brother is buried and went to visit Terry at his grave. You were there for Rhonda, Anthony, and Cynthia when they had no food or electricity and you provided for them. You are the definition of 2 Timothy 4: 7-8. You stood for what was right and moral and remained faithful. 7) I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith: 8) Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing. You were always there! Now enjoy your reward! I love you!

So sorry to hear of his passing. Marlin was a good man and I know he will be missed by many.  Prayers for Karen and all of the family.

Mr. Donaldsonis survived by his wife, Karen Donaldson; daughter, Kim Fisher and husband, Ben of Hackett; brother, Melvin Donaldson and wife, Debbie of Van Buren; sister, Gaylene Lee and husband, James of San Antonio, Texas; two grandchildren, Samuel Fisher and Jacob Fisher.
