Martha Sue (Green) McKay

Martha Sue (Green) McKay, 85, passed away Tuesday, January 16, 2024 at her home in Huntington, Arkansas. She was born October 3, 1938 to Lowell and Dorothy (Neisler) Green on Blackjack Mountain near Abbott, Arkansas.

She is survived by her husband of 65 years, Bob McKay; her children, Susan (Steve) Woods of Hartford, Bryan (Wendy) McKay of Huntington and Laura (Bill) Jones of Huntington; four grandchildren, Olivia (Eddie) Smith of Hoover, Alabama, J.K. McKay of Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, Erica (Dalton) Dozier of Waldron and Madelen Jones of Fort Smith; six great grandchildren, Lennon, Trinity, Max and Parker Woods and Isla and Avery Smith; one brother, John Green of Huntington; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, church family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Joe and Jimmy Green; one sister, Mary Goines and two grandsons, Jeremy and Josh Woods.

Funeral service will be 10 a.m., Saturday, January 20 at McConnell Funeral Home Chapel in Greenwood with burial at Union Ridge Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday from 1 – 7 p.m. at the funeral home, where the family will visit with friends from 5 – 7 p.m.
