Monte Russell Woody

Monte Russell Woody, 63, of Little Rock, Arkansas, formerly of Greenwood, Arkansas passed away Wednesday, March 23, 2022 in a Little Rock hospital. He was an account representative for Stihl Outdoor Power Equipment.

He is survived by his mother, Joan Woody; one brother, Bill Woody and wife, Melanie; two sisters, Shari Brown and husband, Eddie and Lori Kagy and husband, Matt; nieces and nephews, Brody, Jessica, Logan, Jill, Kemp, Samantha and Grace, along with his cat, Charlie and dog, Nick. He was preceded in death by his father, Jimmy Dale Woody and a sister, Jami Powell.

Graveside service will be 1 p.m., Monday, March 28 at Liberty Cemetery in Greenwood under the direction of McConnell Funeral Home of Greenwood. Viewing will be Sunday from 3 – 7 p.m. at the funeral home, where the family will visit with friends from 5 – 7 p.m.

Pallbearers will be Mike Holland, Russell McConnell, Stanhope Wilkinson, Blake Hocott, Roger Styles and Paul Reano. Honorary pallbearers will be the Greenwood High School Class of 1976 and his golfing, hunting and horse racing friends.
