Otis Earl Womack, 98, of Hartford, died Monday, December 31, 2012 in his home. He was born to Homer and Mary Womack October 7, 1914 in Weeks, Arkansas. He was a retired timber worker, attended Abbott Baptist Church, and was an avid fox hunter.
Survivors include his wife, Lavaughn Womack; six daughters, Naomi Hawkins, Sharon Matteson, Mary Counts, Brenda Swift, Donna Tiemann and Melanie Robinson; two sons, Sonny and Dan Womack; twenty- two grandchildren; twenty great-grandchildren, and twelve great-great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a son, Homer Womack; a grandson, Chuck Yandell, and a granddaughter, Shannon Clem.
Graveside service will be 2:00 p.m. Thursday, January 3 at West Harmony Cemetery near Hartford under the direction of McConnell Funeral Home of Greenwood. Viewing will be 1:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home in Greenwood.
