Roy “Moose” King, 78 of Greenwood, Arkansas passed away Tuesday, July 29, 2014 in a Fort Smith hospital. He was retired from Willamette Corrugated Box Company, member of the Moose Lodge and member of Excelsior Baptist Church.
Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Friday, August 1, 2014 at McConnell Funeral Home Chapel in Greenwood with burial at Stroud Cemetery in Greenwood. Viewing will be Thursday from 1 – 8 p.m. at the funeral home, where the family will visit with friends from 6 – 8p.m.
He is survived by his wife, Lynda King; one son, Patrick Ledbetter of Greenwood; four daughters, Debbi Moore and Sandi Ramirez both of El Paso, TX, Brenda Seabourn of Texarkana, TX and Susan Westmoreland of Oklahoma City, OK; ten grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Chet Pittenger, Brent Carson, Chris Carson, Jerry Winford, Gavin Stewart and Reese Westmoreland. Honorary pallbearers will be John Edgmon.
