Shirley Rae Beckham

Shirley Rae Beckham, 90, of Fort Smith, Arkansas, formerly of Arlington, TX, passed away Friday, December 25, 2020 in a Fort Smith hospital. She was a retired Registered Nurse.

As a nurse, a career that fit her well, she loved and cared for her patients and made them feel special. Shirley dedicated her life caring for others, her last years at Butterfield Place were spent looking out for the other residents, making them feel at home.

She is survived by five daughters, Roxana King and her husband Dennis, of Fort Smith, Tannya Rothfelder of Fort Smith, Rae Deal and her husband Ronnie, of Greenwood, Rhonda Gordon and her husband Jim, of Arlington, TX, and Denise Parker and her husband Randy, of Richland Hills, TX, nine grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.

Memorial service will be 10 a.m., Saturday, January 9 at Greenwood First Baptist Church. Cremation was under the direction of McConnell Funeral Home of Greenwood.

Memorial donations in her honor may be made to Alzheimer’s Research Foundation.
