

Stephen P. Dye, 69, of Greenwood, died Thursday, September 22, 2016. He was born in Fort Smith, Arkansas, on October 14, 1946, to John and Betty Ann Dye. He was the retired manager of the River Valley Regional Foodbank and a U.S. Navy veteran of the Vietnam War.
He was preceded in death by his granddaughter, Katherine Poe; and his parents, John and Betty Ann Dye Kincannon.
He is survived by his wife of 27 years, Saundra “Sandi” Dye; his daughers, Lisa Dye Cotton of Springdale, Arkansas, Becca Dye Poe and husband, James of Fayetteville, Arkansas and Julia Orbison Aloisi and husband, Mike of Springfield, Massachusetts; his sons, Michael Dye of Fayetteville, Arkansas and Patrick Orbison and Halie Hostler of Tulsa, Oklahoma; his grandchildren, Logan Poe, Ashton and Brooklyn Aloisi and Katherine Poe; his sister, Dana Crabtree and husband, Junior of Canadian, Oklahoma; his brothers, Mike Dye and wife, Nyla of Fort Smith, Arkansas, Jay Dye and Debbie Jackson of Paris, Arkansas and Darrell Opine of Mena, Arkansas and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
The body was cremated under the direction of McConnell Funeral Home in Greenwood.
