Tamera Jean Cater, 61, of Booneville, Arkansas passed away Saturday, February 7, 2026 at her home. She was born December 15, 1964 to Burl and Betty (Cates) Crenshaw. She was a homemaker.

She is survived by husband, Jerry Cater; one son, Robert Shawn Bess; two daughters, Erin Downs and Tonya Ashley Sovo; two brothers, Jeffrey Crenshaw and Bradley Crenshaw and one sister, Brittanie Cummings. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one son, Richard Wayne Bess.

Cremation arrangements are under the direction of McConnell Funeral Home of Greenwood.
