W.D. “Bill” Hope, 87, of Witcherville, Arkansas passed away Thursday, November 29, 2012 in a Fort Smith hospital. He was a retired mechanic for Kremers Equipment Company. He was an Army veteran of World War II, member and deacon of the Huntington Assembly of God Church.
Funeral service will be 10 a.m. Monday, December 3, 2012 at Huntington Assembly of God Church with burial at Coop Prairie Cemetery under the direction of McConnell Funeral Home in Greenwood. Viewing will be Sunday from 1 – 8 p.m. at the funeral home, where the family will visit with friends from 2 – 4 p.m.
He is survived by his wife, Thelma Hope; one daughter, Melba Jo Sanderson of Witcherville; one son, Duane Hope of Mansfield; one brother, Charlie Faye Hope of Paris; seven grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren. He was preceded in death one daughter Patricia Sanderson and two grandchildren, Keith Sanderson and Stacy Duane Hope.
Pallbearers will be Brian Sanderson, Chris Sanderson, Steven Hope, Michael Hope, Jeff Buckner and Tim Sharp.
