Connie Lee Wallace

A celebration of life service for Connie will be held Sunday, April 6, 2025 at 11:00 AM at Bateman Carroll Funeral Home, 520 W. Powell Blvd, Gresham, Oregon.

Connie Lee Wallace passed away peacefully on March 14, 2025 at the age of 76.

Connie was born on March 5 1949 to Eldon Green and Rhoda Green, in Portland, Oregon, along with her younger brother Tom. The family moved to Eastern Oregon area where Connie was raised on a small farm, owning multiple horses, cows and other livestock. Connie left her hometown in 1972 with her daughter and moved to Portland for career advancement. Connie was a beloved mother, grandmother and GG (great grandmother). She leaves behind her only daughter Charlene, 3 grandchildren Bianca, Britney, Brent and 4 great grandchildren Sebastian, Remy, Isabella and Lyla.

Connie worked as a bank teller for many years until retiring early and began a dog sitting business. Connie’s love for dogs was a major part of her life. Connie was always regarded as a kind and quiet person, and one of her unique characteristics was the ability to squeeze a quarter out of a nickel. Connie worked tirelessly as a single mother to provide a happy and stable life for her daughter, and will be remembered as a woman who lived solely for her family. Her love showed no limits and dedicated all of her free time to her loved ones.

Connie was met in heaven by her parents, first born daughter Darlene, twin to Charlene, the love of her life Randy, who preceded her in death, and many beloved pet companions over the years.
