David Eugene Erdahl

David was born on May 26, 1953 in Bellingham, Washington and was the son of Gene and Gertie (Larsen) Erdahl. He grew up in Ferndale, Washington and graduated from Hillcrest Lutheran Academy in Fergus Falls, Minnesota. On June 9, 1972, he married Ordell Bjordahl in Grand Forks, North Dakota and in 1976 they moved to Gresham.

David worked for 34 years for Boeing retiring in 2011 as a Production Supervisor.

Family was David’s life. He was a devoted husband, dad and grandpa and adored his many friends. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, camping and boating and enjoyed trips to Mexico.

He is survived by his wife, Ordell of Gresham, children: Nikole Erdahl of Gresham, Scott Erdahl of Troutdale and Craig Erdahl of Gresham, sisters: Gloria Downing of Marysville, WA, Dolores Rygh of Boring and Coralee Hagar of Portland and brother: Wesley Erdahl of Marysville, WA along with his three grandchildren: Sebastian Erdahl, Riley Erdahl and Jack Erdahl and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 29, 2014 from 1:00 pm – 5:00 pm at Bateman Carroll Funeral Home in Gresham, OR. A Celebration of David’s life will be on Friday, January 31, 2014 at 2:00 pm at Good Shepherd Community Church in Boring. Contributions may be made in memory of David to the 700 Club at www.cbn.com.
