She retired in 2007 and kept busy attending all the school and life events of her grandchildren and caring for little Abbey and Natalie.
She enjoyed most activities with her family and friends. The children she taught and cared for and many churches were touched by the music she made Knitting, working with children and reading with a great cup of coffee, brought her joy. Her family and friends were very important to her and she adored her bird, Gussie. She was the surrogate “Grammy” to many children and was always ready to sew up an outfit or costume. She was a member most recently of Iglesia de Christo, in Gresham, where she played the piano and taught the children’s classes for years. She was a member of the Estacada Christian Fellowship.
