Don Mitchell Owen, 56 of Portland OR, passed away on Friday, December 2, 2011 due to a motorcycle accident. He was born on April 20, 1955 in Chicopee Falls, Massachusetts to William and Joyce (Fowler) Owen. He graduated in 1973 from Centennial High School.
He is survived by his father Bill Owen (Marilyn) of Portland OR; mother Joyce Rice (Rod) of Portland OR; brothers John Owen (CM) of Troutdale OR and Seth Friant of Portland OR and his Australian Shepherd “Bay”.
A Celebration of Don’s Life will be held at 1:00pm on Monday, December 12, 2011 at Living Hope Baptist Church, 3130 SE 148th Street, Portland OR 97236. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Oregon Humane Society. Arrangements entrusted to Bateman Carroll Funeral Home in Gresham, Oregon.
