Don was preceded in death by his infant daughter Janet, brother David, parents Don and Ruth.
He is survived by his wife Judy of 62 years, daughter Tami and son-in-law Ron, son Tim and daughter-in law Allison, grandchildren: Cody, Kennedy, Nicole, C.J. and great grandchildren Addison and Ryker.
Don graduated from the University of Oregon, Phi Delta Theta. He was a teacher and baseball coach at Reynolds High School for 30 years and was an American Legion Baseball Coach. In 1958 he pitched a no hit, no run perfect baseball game at the U of O. He was a member of the Oregon Sports Hall of Fame. He was also a member of the World Champion Drain Black Sox semi-pro baseball team.
