We say goodbye to Eva E. Brown, beloved Mother, Grandmother & Great Grandmother. She was 96. Born July 4, 1919, in Seattle, WA to parents Cecilia (DeClementi) Massimiani and Enry Luigi Massimiani (Massie). She had two sisters and a brother who are all deceased. Mom was the baby and the last to go.
She was married to Larry Ogle (deceased), and then to Hugh Brown (deceased).
She grew up in Seattle and worked in cosmetic sales at the Bon Marche’ for many years. She and Dad Brown later retired and moved to Thousand Palms, CA. where they enjoyed many years in the beautiful desert weather and golfing with their many friends.
After Dad Brown died, Mom moved to Portland with her daughter Linda, and then to Glendale, AZ. with her son, Larry. She later moved back to Sandy, OR. with her daughter where she lived until she passed on Monday, November 9, 2015.
Mom was in relatively good health and will be remembered by many as “The Italian Pistol". She suffered a severe stroke and God decided it was time to reunite with her family in heaven. We will miss her spontaneous sayings, strong will, and loving smile.
Surviving are her children: Larry Ogle (Susan), Linda Duarte (Howard), Step-daughter Bonnie Morrisette.
Grandchildren: David (Jeavoni), Gina (James), Shelley (Brian), Deane (Julie), Jeff (Erin), Chad (Debbie); Step-grandchildren: Steve, Ana (Mark), Beau.
