

Jeanne Adams passed away on April 15, 2015, in Portland, Oregon. Jeanne was born on March 31, 1925, in Fullerton, Nebraska, to her parents; Harry and Myrtle (Eyler) Blackmun. Jeanne attended Commerce (Cleveland) High School in Portland, and she graduated in1942. Jeanne met her husbandJoseph Albert Adams, at the Imperial Skating Rink in Portland, Oregon, where he was a performer and an instructor. They were married on May 1, 1948, and they had three children together. Jeanne was a dedicated wife and mother. Jeanne was a talented lady; during her lifetime, she wrote a novel and many poems, she created greeting cards, she was very interested in genealogy, was a past President of the Portland Genealogical Forum and was a member of the Mayflower Society; Jeanne also had a passion for traveling, and she and Joseph took many wonderful trips together before his passing. Jeanne was preceded in death by her parents; Harry and Myrtle Blackmun; as well as her husband; Joseph Adams, in 1990 and son; Joseph in 1993. Jeanne is survived by her children; Dan (Susie) and John (Kim), as well as her three grandchildren; Noel (Zoe), Hannah, and Joshua; and her two great grandchildren; Olivi and Lev. She will be missed.
