

Jeff Ferris was born on July 15, 1985 and passed away on November 18, 2020 at the age of 35. Jeff has two brothers, Christopher and Scott, and one sister Christina, plus 10 nieces and nephews. He was the baby of the family. His favorite Aunt and Uncle were Laura and Rod. He loved to draw and paint. It was his special talent and passion.
Jeff’s hobby was playing guitar and video games with friends and family. Cameron, his son, was Jeff’s most treasured gift of all. He loved him with all his heart, and tried his best to make sure that he had a good home
.
Jeff worked various jobs such as a salesman for Verizon and Sprint, which he was very good at. His favorite job was working for leasing companies renting out apartments and houses.
Jeff graduated from Mount Hood Community College with 3 associate degrees.
Jeff was a Christian and went to church often.
When his tragic accident happened he was in the process of moving to Arizona to live close to his mother and dad with his son, fiancé and cat. When the young driver jumped into his lane Jeff reacted as quick as he could to miss him but was killed along with the other driver. The policeman said he saved two lives that day and that he was a hero. He saved Cameron, his son, and the other driver’s passenger.
Jeff was very much loved and will be truly missed.
A Celebration of Jeff’s Life will be held on Friday, July 9, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. at Bateman Carroll Funeral Home located at 520 W. Powell Blvd. in Gresham, Oregon followed by a committal service at Forest Lawn Cemetery in Gresham.
