I have fun memories of Jerry. I remember visiting Sam and Nadine and Jerry would be into a baseball game with a big smile on his face.  I had a great time bowling with him at a New Year's eve party. Such a great bowler. Such a gentle and fun soul.

Thinking about you Stephens family. Jerry, you smile lit up the room. Thank you for your smile and kind heart. God Bless you as you rejoice in his kingdom.

My last memory of Jerry was three years ago when we were in Portland to move Nadine to Michigan.  We took Jerry to church with us that Sunday and gave him the chance to say goodbye to Nadine.  He hadn't been to church in several years, since he went to live in the group home.  But he was so happy to see everyone at Metro and they were genuinely happy to see him.  He sang every song, and every verse with gusto.  The memory makes me smile every time.
