

Joshua graduated from Laurelwood Academy in Oregon. In 1952 he graduated from Walla Walla College earning a degree in Industrial Arts. Joshua served his country in the Army Air Corps during World War II.
Joshua first married Harriette and they were blessed with a daughter, Brenda McGee. Later Joshua married Joy Wilson. They were married for many years until her death in 1977. Joshua then married Barbara Hough. They have been married for many years.
Joshua worked in construction for 3 years. He helped build the girls dormitory in Keene, Texas and later helped build Milo Academy in southern Oregon. He began his teaching career in 1954 at Columbia Academy in Battleground, WA. From 1963-1977 he taught industrial arts at Campion Academy in Colorado. He then moved back to Portland where he worked at Portland Adventist Medical Center doing special maintenance projects.
Joshua was a member of the Sunnyside Seventh-day Adventist Church in Portland. He was passionate about gardening where he became a master gardener. He also was an expert in woodworking. While living in Corbett, Oregon, he was actively involved in the community. Joshua had fond memories of his students and would keep in contact with them and would even hire his former students to work with him on projects.
Survivors include his loving wife Barbara, three sons, Jerry Wall, Stephen and Kevin McNally, four daughters, Brenda McGee, Janenne Rosen, Joan Minten and Karen Sass, brother, Ernest Wall and sister Marian Sharp, 14 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.
Funeral service will be on Saturday, July 30, 2011 at 4:00 p.m. at Sunnyside Seventh-day Adventist Church located at 10501 NE Glisan St. in Portland. Private interment will be at Willamette National Cemetery in Portland.
