Julie Ann Anderson (Akers), born March 28th 1958 in Newport, OR, passed away July 16th 2023 in Portland, OR at 65 years old.
Julie had a huge heart and was a loving mother and friend. She could light up a room with her warmth and infectious laughter. She had a silly personality and was quick to make a little joke with a wink and a smile while making sure everyone was in on the fun. She loved music (anything she could sing to), laying out in the sun (to work on her tan) and writing poetry (for any and every occasion). She loved cooking and was the happiest preparing a meal for her loved ones. She was especially proud of her chicken noodle soup, tomato sauce and her gravy. She injected imagination and creativity into everything she did. She was kind and cared greatly for family, friends, and strangers alike.
She is preceded in death by her father, Berle Akers, and her brother Greg Akers. She is survived by her mother Doris Powell, stepfather Weldon Powell, sister Connie Hess and daughters Corrie Anderson and Chelsea Anderson. She will be greatly missed.
