Leo Wallace Tackett IV

Leo was born on March 12, 1976 in Ft. Hood, Texas and was the son of Leo and Debra (Staples) Tackett. He grew up in Lincoln City and later moved to Clackamas where he graduated from high school. He worked for Sure Power Industries for 13 years and also worked for various Chevron Stations.

He married Stefanie VanMeter on October 6, 2001 in Caver, Oregon and they had two boys. They resided in Milwaukie for 7 years.

Leo enjoyed spending time on his wave runner and his four wheeler. He also enjoyed RC cars and boats, video games and working on his vintage VW. His greatest loves were his two boys.

Leo is survived by his wife, Stefanie of Milwaukie, sons, Leo W. Tackett V “Wally” and Carter J. Tackett both of Milwaukie and his mother, Debra Tackett of Enterprise, Oregon along with his Aunts and Uncles, Martha Buss, Mary Mattision and Jack

A celebration of Leo’s life will be held on Thursday, July 19, 2012 at 11:00 am at Bateman Carroll Funeral Home in Gresham, Oregon. Contributions may be made in his memory to the Suicide Hotline. Bateman Carroll Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.
