

Naomi Ruth Olson passed away on August 14, 2015, in Portland, Oregon. Naomi was born on November 18, 1929, in Newport, Oklahoma, to her parents: Paul C. and Bertha M. (Bigbie) Clowdus. Naomi was one of five siblings. Naomi attended Lone Grove High School in Newport, and she graduated in 1946.
Naomi married husband, Floyd Everett Olson, on September 7, 1952, in Seattle, Washington. They were married until his passing on March 10, 2000. Together, they had three children.
Naomi was an active member of Woodland Park Baptist Church, and she had previously attended East Hill Church and Bethlehem Lutheran Church.
Naomi worked as a secretary for the IRS, and she was also the manager of the Portland Federal Employees Credit Union. She was a member of Marion Behr, and she also volunteered in the East Hill Church Child Care. Naomi enjoyed extensive traveling while she was married to Floyd. She had the opportunity to visit her dream destination, Jerusalem, and that was an experience of a lifetime. Her daughter also took her on a wonderful trip to Australia.
Naomi was preceded in death by her parents; her son, Terrence, and her siblings, Paul, Charles, and Dorothy. Naomi is survived by her son, Randy; her daughter, Tami; her brother, Kenneth; and her two granddaughters, Cortnie and Hadley. She was deeply loved and will be greatly missed.
