We shared always such nice memories of camping trips together with our families. The kids were so little! The annual Timothy Lake trips were always looked so forward to. Always a good time together---the guys around the campfire---the gals, too!
The birthday parties at John and Lisa's. Many a memory.
We will always keep you in our hearts--all of you.
Affectionately, Judy & George---Katherine, too!

How do you say goodbye to your best friend. I met Ron in grade school but we didn't become friends till high school. Growing up as teenagers with Ron was the best time of my life. Motorcycles, cars, girls, sandlake and beer. Life and time got the best of us but, we still stayed in touch through out all the years. When we got together it was all memory's and smiles and laughter. I will miss the best friend I ever had Ron. Pic of Ron 1972 dover park mx

We had a long friendship, 46 yrs. In that time we hunted, fished, camped, boated together but most of the time was working together. We started at FMC in 1974, you building rail cars, I building Chevron tankers. Rail car orders dropped and you were hired on at the marine end. I took you as my partner and we hung and fit tons of steel on new barge construction. Work was a bit rough in the mid 80's but you landed at Sundial marine in '87 and I followed in '88. I think we complimented each other well with what we accomplished, you working days and me working nights during our 20 plus years there. Then the transition Tidewater for the home stretch to retirement.
What I wouldn't give for one more sturgeon trip with you! You were a true friend in every sense. You were the only vocal voice for me when I was down and that I will never forget! I'm sure Mr Hickey has welcomed you home! RIP my Friend

From the Tidewater Gang
Ron, you will be missed dearly by all of us at Tidewater. You were not just a coworker, your were a true friend and family member to us all. Your dedication and talent set the bar high. All in the marine industry around the area knew Ron and his skill set. He is the one that took an idea and made it happen with the utmost quality that exceeded industry standard. Ron was the guy who you could count on anytime of day or night to help in a critical situation. He was our Rock. Big Daddy, we will miss you.

Ron, I will always remember when I called you would yell for Darci and tell her Wendy,Cindy, Dindy, Mindy was on the phone. For 30+years you were the second dad that was always there with all the "dad knowledge". I am so sad you are gone and you will be so missed. Thank you for being such a blessing in my life and those all around you. Love to Shannan, Ryan, Darci and the whole family. How lucky we all are to have had someone go great in our lives that we will miss so much. Hugs and Love!!!

Ron, you will be so missed. The fun camping trips to the Prineville and Sisters Rodeo & Barview Jetty for our crabbing trips. The fun sitting around the campfire -- Dinner out to the Viewpoint. We know you are in a far better place, but will be so missed. We will keep your family in our thoughts and prayers.

Oh Ron Snider!!
You are the one that I hear your name and smile a loving smile!
You were ALWAYS a joy to be around, either in everyday conversation or in jokes... that usually came out of everyday conversations! ( You always seemed to find the funny in situations)
Darcie said they lost “their Rock”
Although we haven’t hung out or been camping together in a long time, way back then just being around your family it was VERY evident that you were their rock... such a great man all about your family!!!
One of a kind is what you were Ron Snider!!
My heart aches for your family 💔
Until we meet again TRUE friend!
