

Sone came to the United States in 1980 living in Portland and Oregon City. Sone’s perseverance and hard work allowed her to realize her dream of a better life for her family. Through her dedication and ambitious desire Sone learned English and became a US Citizen.
Sone had unconditional love for family, friends and her faith. Sone was a wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and mother-in-law. Sone radiated warmth and tenderness to everyone she met. Her kind heart and infectious smile instantly made you feel both safe and loved. Sone would say “I love you all.”
Sone enjoyed socializing, had a quick wit, and treasured a good laugh. She found joy in singing and dancing, adored animals, liked being entertained, cherished travel and was a lifelong student. Sone enjoyed watching TV shows, especially Wheel of Fortune, the Price is Right and anything on the Nature Channel.
Survivors include her four sons, Bounmy, Bounheune, Bounma and Pida, four daughters, Bounna, Veha, Moukda and Paeng, her 16 grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
Donations may be given to Good Samaritan Hospital.
Funeral Service will start at noon on Saturday, November 20, 2010 at Bateman Carroll Funeral Home 520. W. Powell Blvd. in Gresham, OR. Please come celebrate the life of Sone Savanh.
