Thomas Nelson Echternach passed away in Gresham, Oregon. Thomas was born on April 15, 1929, in Los Angeles, California, to his parents; Albert and Marguerite (Nelson) Echternach. Thomas attended Beverly Hills High School, and he was part of the graduating class of 1947.
Thomas joined the Navy in 1952, and he served as a Naval Aviator until 1955. He then attended The University of California, Berkeley, where he majored in architecture.
Thomas loved the outdoors; he enjoyed skiing in Vail, Colorado, football, and hiking. He also had an appreciation for art, writing, and old movies. He will be remembered for his unique philosophies on life.
Thomas was preceded in death by his parents; Albert and Marguerite Echternoch, and his brother; John Echternach.
Thomas is survived by his children; Tom, James, David, Tony, and Julia; seven grandchildren, one sister, and numerous nieces nephews, and cousins. He will be missed.
