Born to Howard Bass Gossett and Mary Lou Norris Gossett in 1921, Frank served in the U.S. Army Air Force for the full duration of WWII. After the war, he started his own construction company and was known for his well built houses, churches, and commercial structures. He was considered a master craftsman due to his restoration of historically significant homes in the area.
He is survived by two sons, Al Gossett (Dottie) of Mt. Pleasant, S.C. and Roger Gossett (Vicki) of Woodstock, GA; 4 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.
Graveside funeral services for Mr. Albert Franklin Gossett will be held Saturday, July 9, 2016 at 10:30 a.m. in the Oak Hill Cemetery. Friends may visit the family Saturday from 8 – 10 a.m. at the funeral home.
