Beverly Cunard Barrow Hester

Mrs. Hester was born October 19, 1921 in Griffin to the late Walter O. “Boss” Cunard and the late Elon Crumbley Cunard. She was retired from the Georgia Experiment Station in Griffin. Mrs. Hester was a member of Mt. Gilead Baptist Church for many years. She moved to Newnan four years ago to be closer to her Family. Mrs. Hester was preceded in death by her husbands, Boots Barrow and Bob Hester.

Survivors include her son & daughter-in-law, Richard & Jean Barrow of Newnan; grandchildren, John & Lyndsey Barrow of Sharpsburg; Conn & Emalee Barrow of Newnan and Highlands Ranch, CO; great-grandchildren, Hollie Barrow, Noah Barrow, Ashley Barrow, Ethan Barrow, Faith Barrow; great-great-grandchildren, Tristion Cade Barrow, Bralin Barrow, Skyler Barrow, Selah Barrow; sister-in-law, Frances Cunard of Winston; niece, Beverly Jean Sellers of Winston and nephew, Charles Cunard of Jackson. “Miss Beverly” had a host of wonderful friends and was loved by many.

Funeral services for Mrs. Beverly Cunard Barrow Hester will be held Friday, October 18, 2013 at 3:00 p.m. in the chapel of Haisten McCullough Funeral Home. Rev. John Barrow, Rev. Harvey Wilson and Rev. Sharon Edgar, Chaplain of Wesley Woods will officiate. Interment will follow in the Oak Hill Cemetery. Friends may visit the family 1 hour prior to the service.
