David Demetro

Mr. Demetro was born May 28, 1951 in Cleveland, OH son of the late Andrew H. Demetro and the late Mary Harris Demetro. He retired from Delta Airlines after 30 years of service and was a Vietnam Vetereran of the U.S. Marines. Mr. Demetro loved golf, fishing, Nascar, playing cards and traveling. He was preceded in death by 2 brothers, Daniel Demetro, Sr. and Thomas Demetro; sister, Linda Poling as well as his father-in-law & mother-in-law, Henry and Marcia Chriss.

Survivors include his wife of 37 years, Barbara Chriss Demetro of Griffin; brother & sister-in-law, Robert & Janet Demetro of VA; sister-in-law & her husband, Christopher & Beverly Killian of Ohio; brother-in-law & his wife, William & Carol Chriss of New Jersey and numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great nephews.

Graveside funeral services for Mr. David Richard Demetro will be held Tuesday, November 15, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at Hillside Cemetery in Roslyn, PA. Friends may visit the family on Monday, November 14, 2011 from 6 – 8 p.m. at the Decker Funeral Home in Warminster, PA.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be directed to American Diabetes Association, 225 Peachtree Street Suite 550 Atlanta, GA 30303 or the Georgia Transplant Foundation, 6600 Peachtree Dunwoody Road, Atlanta, GA 30328 in memory of Mr. Demetro.
