Mrs. Gladys Marie Clayton Mooney

Mrs. Mooney was born December 10, 1928 daughter of the late Palmer and Mary Mathis Clayton. She was a member of Thomas Road Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, James C. Mooney and son, Glen Mooney.

Survivors include daughter & son-in-law, Gail & Randy Wilson of Griffin; sons, Gary Mooney of Monticello; Grant C. Mooney of Savannah; grandchildren, Stephanie & Jeff McFarlin of Griffin, Kevin Wilson of Griffin, Jeff Mooney of Monticello; 3 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren; sisters, Myrtle Mooney, Berniece McClure and Helen Thomas all of Ellijay.

Funeral services for Mrs. Gladys Marie Mooney will be held Sunday, September 16, 2012 at 4:00 p.m. in the chapel of Haisten McCullough Funeral Home. Rev. Keith Lowry and Rev. Jimmy Dunn will officiate. Interment will follow in Westwood Gardens. Friends may visit the family on Saturday, September 15, 2012 from 2 – 4 p.m. and 6 – 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
