Paul Lanier Shivers

Mr. Shivers was born November 17, 1928, son of the late Flem Paul Shivers and Evelyn Pitts Shivers.

Survivors include his wife of 63 years, Barbara Noel Shivers of Griffin; daughters & sons-in-law, Susan Davis of Wildwood; Jennifer & Lucian Tatum of Griffin, Natalie & Douglas Litavec of Huntsville, AL; son & daughter-in-law, Matthew & Wendy Shivers of Covington; grandchildren, Anna Jo & Jeremy Auerbach, Colby & Kyle Shivers, Bianca, John, & Elizabeth Litavec; sister, Christine S. Ginn of Newnan and several nieces & nephews.

Graveside funeral services for Mr. Lanier Shivers will be held Friday, June 6, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. in the Oak Hill Cemetery. Friends may visit the family on Friday from 12:00 – 1:45 p.m. at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association of Georgia, 41 Perimeter Center East, Suite 550, Atlanta, GA 30346 in memory of Mr. Shivers.
