Mr. Richard J. Adams

Mr. Adams was born February 19, 1927 in Cook County, IL to the late Thomas Watson Adams and Tina Bell McElreath Adams. He was a retired Veteran of the U.S. Army. Mr. Adams was a superb knife maker having had his knives distributed all over the world.

Survivors include his wife, Arlene Alsing Adams of Concord; daughters & son-in-law, Glenda Webber of Snellville, Deborah & Brian Vaceluke of Lawrenceville; sons & daughter-in-law, Michael Adams of Snellville, Mark Adams of Lilburn, David Adams of Concord and Brian & Pam Adams of Concord and 2 grandsons, Brian Cody Adams and Bobby Shane Adams.

A memorial service for Mr. Richard J. Adams will be held Thursday, February 25, 2010 at 3:00 p.m. in the chapel of Haisten McCullough Funeral Home. Rev. Terry Butler will officiate. Friends may visit the family on Thursday 1 hour prior to the service.
