Mrs. Ruby Inez Calhoun

Mrs. Calhoun was born January 16, 1924, daughter of the late William Jasper Fortson and the late Adele Lamb Fortson. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jackson William Calhoun, son, Darrell Flegler Calhoun; great-granddaughters Hailey and Anna and several brothers and sisters.

Survivors include daughter & son-in-law, Shirley & Alfred Power of Thomaston; son & daughter-in-law, Ronney Wayne & Margie Calhoun of Griffin; 10 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; brother & sister-in-law, Royce & Rae Fortson of High Falls; sister-in-law, Marvine Wilkerson of Albany and daughter-in-law, Audrey Calhoun of Griffin.

Funeral services for Mrs. Ruby Inez Calhoun will be held Monday, April 21, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of Haisten McCullough Funeral Home. Rev. Riley Fenley will officiate. Interment will be at 2:30 in the Oklahoma Baptist Church Cemetery in Cordele. Friends may visit the family on Monday from 9 – 11 a.m. at the funeral home.
