Ruthie Myrl Evans

Mrs. Evans was born June 5, 1933, daughter of the late Hubert and Clyde Hines Brooks. She was a member of First Assembly of God and was employed there for over 30 years as a bus driver and lunch room worker. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Harris Evans and Harry Adams; brother, Gene Brooks and daughter, Pam Adams.

Survivors include her sons & daughters-in-law, Scotty & Susan Adams, Ken & Starr Evans and Andy Adams; grandchildren, April Diaz, Brittney Evans, Elizabeth Evans, Victoria Evans, Sarah Evans and Kenny Evans; great-grandchild, Scott Diaz and sisters-in-law, Dorothy Gregory, Amileen Brooks, Margaret Evans, Christen Pointer and Shirley Sheffield.

Funeral services for Mrs. Ruthie Myrl Evans will be held Sunday, June 29, 2014 at 3:00 p.m. in the chapel of Haisten McCullough Funeral Home. Rev. Greg Marsh will officiate. Interment will follow in Westwood Gardens. Friends may visit the family on Sunday from 1:00 p.m. until the service hour.
