

Mrs. Dunn was born October 5, 1916, daughter of the late John Wayne Floyd and the late Jessie Betsill Floyd. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Sunnyside. Mrs. Dunn was preceded in death by her husband, George Dewey Dunn; son-in-law, Joel Carter and several brothers & sisters.
Survivors include daughters & sons-in-laws, Helen & Kelly Akin of Hampton, Faye Carter of Griffin, Shirley & Carl Mulkey of Peachtree City, Judy & Arthur Moss of Milner, Melba & David Brown of Peachtree City; grandchildren, David & Lagene Akin, Susan Akin, Alan Akin, Karen & Tony Martin, Paul & Sharon Carter, Lance & Dawn Greer, Josh & April Ellerbee, Erin & Oscar Ortiz, Jennifer & Kyle Campbell and Chris Brown; 17 great-grandchildren; 11 great-great-grandchildren; brothers, Leroy Floyd of Hampton, Rev. Argin Floyd of Sunnyside and sisters, Susie Cox of Hampton and Cleo Stamey of Smyrna.
Funeral services for Mrs. Sarah Lucile Floyd Dunn will be held Thursday, March 6, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Haisten McCullough Funeral Home. Rev. Argin Floyd will officiate. Interment will follow in the Sunnyside Baptist Church Cemetery. Friends may visit the family on Wednesday, March 5, 2014 from 6 – 8 p.m. at the funeral home and again on Thursday from 12:00 noon until the service time.
