Shirley Yvonne Power

Mrs. Power was born November 18, 1947, daughter of the late Jackson William and Ruby Inez Fortson Calhoun. She was also preceded in death by granddaughters, Hailey Power and Anna Hambrick; brother, Darrell Flegler and step-daughter, Tracy Allen.

Survivors include her husband, Alfred Power, children, Jason Power and Angela Maddox; step-children, Brenda & Walter Woodall, Steve Power and Judy Rogers; grandchildren, Rusty Duke, Melanie Cromer, Walt Woodall, Jr., Carlton Power, Brian Rogers, Alan Maddox and Amber Johnson; 7 great-grandchildren; brother, Wayne Calhoun and sisters-in-law, Margie Calhoun and Audrey Calhoun. Nieces, nephews and other family also survive.

A funeral service for Mrs. Shirley Yvonne Power will be held Saturday, March 28, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of Haisten McCullough Funeral Home. Rev. Riley Fenley and Dr. Benny Tate will officiate. Burial will follow in Westwood Gardens. Friends may visit the family on Friday, March 27, 2015 from 6 – 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
