Mr. Cardell was born January 31, 1942 in Griffin to the late Rev. Joseph Burelle Cardell and the late Eunice Sangster Cardell. He attended Beulah Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Andra Carter Cardell of Zebulon; son, Christopher Wayne Cardell of Zebulon; daughters, Teresa Evans & Tammy of Griffin; 4 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; brother & sister-in-law, Joe & Patricia Cardell and several nieces & nephews.
Funeral services will be held Friday, June 8, 2012 at 4:00 p.m. in the chapel of Haisten McCullough Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Westwood Gardens. Friends may visit the family 2 hours prior to the service.
