William Shank Jr.

Mr. Shank was born February 24, 1944 in East Point, GA. He was the son of the late William Shank Sr. and Martha Hatch Shank. He retired from Clayton County after many years of faithful service as a fleet mechanic, where he kept the fire trucks in top shape. Mr. Shank along with his wife volunteered with the Pike County School System. He was known as a loving husband, father, and grandfather. He was preceded in death by his father, William Shank Sr. and a brother Curtis Shank.

Survivors include his wife, Paula Shank; daughters and son-in-law, Lori Shank and Katherine Shank and Garrett Stevens; his beloved grandchildren, William Carter Stevens and Isabella Juliann Stevens; mother, Martha E. Shank; brother, Robert Shank, sister, Martha Shank II; nieces, nephews and other family also survive.

Funeral services for Mr. William Shank Jr. will be held on Tuesday, March 13, 2012 at 11:00 AM in the chapel of Haisten McCullough Funeral Home. Friends may visit the family on Monday, March 12, 2012 from 6-8 PM at the funeral home.
