To the Fortunate Family, Psalm 119:50,52,76 says, "This is my comfort in my affliction, for your own saying has preserved me alive. I have remembered your judicial decisions from time indefinite, O Jehovah, and I find comfort for myself. May your loving-kindness serve, please, to comfort me, according to your saying to your servant."

My heart and prayers are with you all. Aunt Agnes will always be remembered as such a great lady and an inspiration to all who knew her. After reading some of the Facebook posts today though, I can't help but smile at the thought of her and all the other aunts and uncles in Heaven dancing up a storm . . . And then sitting down to play some cards! Love you all

We will miss Aunt Agnes very much. Her life was full of family, friends, and fun. She had the Hemler family wit, and we are lucky that she was a part of our lives.

I have so many memories of Grandma...avid gardener and slayer of dandelions, crafty crocheter and maker of special shawls and blankets, talented piano player and singer in her church choir, smart as a whip and a wicked good Scrabble player, picnic preparer for Sun afternoons at the lake with Loyal Wingers, nurse when I broke my arm, Tigers baseball fan, and many more. I'll mostly remember her patience and unconditional love for her family. May we all follow her example and lead such full lives. Rest in peace. We love you.

Agnes was a wonderful mother. I remember always feeling welcome in her home. May her memory be for a blessing.

My deepest condolences to the whole Fortunate family.

It is with sadness and heartache that we send Auntie Agnes back to our Heavenly Father to rest in peace. Her accomplishments are amazing and memorable...raising 7 wonderful children, loving many grandchildren and great-grandchildren, learning to drive at MY age, graduating college!
