Betty J. McCormick, age 89, passed peacefully on June 18th, 2016. Betty was pre-deceased by her beloved husband, John, and all of her siblings. She is survived by four generations of nieces and nephews as well as many special cousins. Betty was also blessed to have so many wonderful caregivers at the assisted living center where she lived the past 1.5 years. Betty resided most of her life in Harper Woods. As a volunteer at St. John Hospital on Moross for 17 years, Betty touched the lives of many others. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice of Michigan (hom.org) or Alzheimer's Association (alz.org). A private graveside service will be held for family.
