Bonnie A. Marquez (Nee: Arndt), age 55, of Roseville died peacefully surrounded by her family on Saturday, June 25, 2022. She was born on January 8, 1967 in Detroit to the late Robert and Darlene (nee: Abbott) Arndt.
Bonnie worked as a teller at Charter One Bank (now known as Citizens Bank), where she was well known for her outgoing personality and contagious smile; who would always brighten her customers day.
She enjoyed bowling; she and her husband enjoyed playing on numerous bowling leagues throughout the years, as well as an being an avid Tigers fan. She will be remembered for her green thumb in the garden as well as being an avid birdwatcher (especially loved hummingbirds).
Above all, her greatest joy was spending time with her family, which filled her with unparalleled pride and infinite joy. The joy she experienced raising, along with her husband; three kind, respectful, and caring human beings who will carry forward those qualities to her grandchildren.
She is survived by her loving husband of over 35 years, Arthur Marquez; her three beloved children, Robert Marquez (Debra), Marc Marquez (Amanda), and Alyssa Marquez ( Scott); her four cherished grandchildren, Alexis, Robert Jr., Brody, Olivia; her three sisters, Jennifer Arndt, Stacey Skovranko (Paul) and Kerri Smith (Mark). Numerous nieces, Nephews, extended family and close friends, also survive her.
A visitation will be held on Thursday, June 30. 2022 from 3:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. in A.H. Peters Funeral Home (20705 Mack Avenue, Grosse Pointe Woods, MI 48236), with a service to conclude at 8:00 p.m.
