Carl Gianotti

Carl Gianotti died on Saturday, November 10, 2018 with family by his side. He was born on October 13, 1925 in Detroit, Michigan. He is the son of the late John and Julia Gianotti. Carl is an proud United States Navy veteran. Carl loved to play cards and to hunt. Traveling took him and his wife to places throughout the world. He's been to Germany, Austria, and also to Italy to visit family and friends. Beloved husband of the late Pauline for 68 years. Loving father of John Gianotti (Lynne), Annette Gianotti, and Carl Gianotti (Lori). Cherished grandfather of Carlie Gianotti, Kyle Gianotti, Lauryn Swiacki (Andrew), Kelly Gianotti (David Malinowski), Michael Gianotti, and Jacquelyn Pawl. Great-grandfather of Casein Swiacki and Hailey Malinowski. Brother of Rosemary Visingardi (Pat) and the late Fred Gianotti (surviving wife, Helen). Also survived by many loving nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 13, 2018 from 3:00 pm until 9:00 pm at the A.H. Peters Funeral Home, 32000 Schoenherr Road at Masonic, Warren, Michigan. Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, November 14, 2018 at 10:00 am at the funeral home. Private burial will be in Resurrection Cemetery, Clinton Township, Michigan. Memorial contributions may be made to Wins for Warriors which is Justin Verlander's non-profit organization sponsoring veterans (www.winsforwarriors.org).
