Carla Ann Listman, age 56, died on September 26, 2018. The fourth child of George William Listman and Kay Marie Kimmel, also deceased, Carla was a source of inspiration and continual optimism to those around her, despite having battled schizophrenia and other challenges throughout her life. Above all things, Carla cherished family ties and events, and looked forward to celebrations and outings with loved ones who visited her. She lived with grace, generosity, and enthusiasma legacy those who knew her will remember and wish to follow. She was preceded in death by her older sister, Paula Marie Listman-Tocco, and is survived by her loving brothers George Michael Listman (Norma Erendira Sanchez Velazquez) and Stephen Patrick Listman (Lisa), as well as her dear aunt and godmother Fran Didur. She will be sorely missed by friends and staff at the home where she lived, including Tamika King, Felicia Jordan, Trisha Hudson, Venus Nathan, and Talonda King, as well as other members of that household, and by beloved nieces and nephews in the US and Mexico and by family friend Dave Lowen.
